         ever lasting conjunction
we walk through each other and melt
         into the next moment
         we wait, on the move,
         form ourselves and change
         all in anticipation
that something will come of it
the weeks and months and years
are the backdrop to this now
         which we ever wait for
surely there must be more ....
Godot once told me this story
but I had lent my ear to Gautama
         who was giving away poses
to pass the waiting, with a smile.
