It is easy to identify
with the ringing in your ears amid the silence
or the light that forms when you contemplate
your third eye
or the kinesthetic sense as an awareness
that fills your body.
But these are all still reflections
of the material manifestation.
It is that awareness that regards
all the contents of consciousness,
that profound and measureless mirror,
that you must identify with
to leave yourself behind.
