2019-10-21 – In the Ever Now

Monday, October 21st, 2019

Beyond the Ego and the sense of self, lies what?

The inarticulate cannot say; though they live there
in the utter immediacy.

And what is can only exist in this moment
though all of it seems, inevitably, spanned
across the movements of time and space.

The stimulus that triggers a memory,
unfolds across the minor moments
and distance from one synapse onto the next.

The cognition that forms a concept,
that welds its parts into something,
now alluded to by an alluder,
arises as a wave.

The illusionary sense of continuity
that is really just
a seamless unfolding
of the ever now.

This nameless moving parade of parts
that form intents as the consequences
of what is unfolded and unfolding.

It never stops, is never whole,
is always in summation,
and is only the moving flow.

Parts that remember,
parts that imagine,
parts that project,
and parts that conclude,
like every molecule of water
in a surging sea.

2020-09-14 – Timeless Change Incarnate

Thursday, September 17th, 2020

In this moment you are in the flow of all that is,
timeless change incarnate.
When you take form you appear, you differentiate,
you become active and resistive.
And resistance is the stuff of Karma.
If thoughtlessness ensues, you do not disappear.
It is just the active that becomes passive
and the resistance that disappears.
You will be a point-of-presence until your life ends.
You create worlds because of your dualism.
Without it, nothing would be expressed
against the screen of the One.
The One and nothing are indistinguishable,
and without differences.
In and out of manifestation then; active and passive,
here and not here,
you cannot put a foot into that one river
in the same way twice.
In the flow, you vanish.
And when you focus again,
you reappear different than everything and
always an inseparable a part of the One.

2021-08-30 – The ripples

Tuesday, August 31st, 2021

Every word that names and isolates a part of it is a lie.
And every statement that says it is all the same is a lie.
Language bends and creaks beneath the load.
It is not one, nor is it two.

The ancients explained this in words to those
who believed in words
knowing that they would hear but not understand.

You can experience the moving river of change
directly in this wordless moment.
But the not one-ness or not two-ness of it
slips through the fingers of a mind
hardwired for one or the other.

But even wordless, we can know directly
the now and then-ness of it
the here and there-ness of it
the big and small-ness of it.

These ripple the waters of it
as change and difference.

But even wordless, we can know directly
the simple and the complex-ness of it
the heat and the cold-ness of it
the soft and the hard-ness of it.

These ripple the waters of it
as change and difference.
