I see the scenes
and describe them in words
and hope that I should be
treasured as a poet.
Just an ego waving
my hands…
look at me
see what I have seen
treasure me.
Is it just another way
of being foolish?

Before words, simple ‘is-ness’ was all.
Then we came with our words and,
seeing only from within them,
we tried to ‘explain’ things.
It is such a fool’s errand.
Know that the ‘is-ness’
is the truth
and that the words are the illusion,
and things get much simpler.
