I begin to ache for Canada.
I miss the country, the people,
the politics and the morality.

I can see the sidewalks
and the clouds over Vancouver.
Feel the rhythm of her streets
and the straight forward honesty
of her people.

I tire of this plastic competitive
capitalistic wasteland.

For Lise

Somewhere she touched me
and led me new
thru smiles and feelings and honesty.

Now I wait on her smiles
and feel each moment with her
pregnant with the joy
of breaking new ground.

Every story or fable about the Masters
                 misleads us, subtly.
               We see how they are
and translate it to see ourselves, there.
And, thus, when we imagine ourselves as they are,
                 we always see ourselves
                   through the eyes of others.
               It's again the difference between
                 being and trying to be.
We must find the secret within us.
                 Utterly disconnected from
                   all imaginings, posings and motives.
We must become the light of unity
                 unto ourselves,
                    born only of ourselves.
